Hope House Shop Volunteer in Oswestry

Hope House Children's Hospices

At Hope House Children’s Hospices we believe that every child’s life is precious, however short it may be.

That is why we want to make sure that no one faces the death of a child alone. That every family whose child has a life-threatening condition has the opportunity to receive our help and support, free of charge, when they need it.

Our shops are one of our main sources of income and due to overwhelming support for us through donations and sales in Oswestry we have outgrown our previous shop and have opened a new flagship store on Smithfield Street. It is our biggest store ever and we have exciting new volunteering opportunities to offer.

Your help will make a huge difference in helping seriously ill local children.

About Hope House Children's Hospices

We're Hope House at Oswestry, Shropshire, and TA Gobaith at Conwy, North Wales - we're a charity committed to supporting life-limited children, young people and their families in Shropshire, Cheshire, North and Mid Wales. We're here to help them to be as comfortable, happy and fulfilled as they can by providing:
- Specialist nursing and palliative care at home, in the community and at Hope House & TÅ· Gobaith.
- Emotional and practical help to parents and other family members.
- We're also here to provide bereavement support and specialist counselling to any family after the death of their child - whether or not we've previously cared for them - and to children who've lost someone close to them, suddenly or unexpectedly.
