Visitor Centre Volunteer

We are looking for people with a passion for the Montgomery Canal, heritage, wildlife and the local area. Volunteers help in the visitor centre which is open on Sundays and Bank Holiday Mondays until September. We are also interested in meeting people with an interest with canoes and narrowboats.

About Llanymynech Canal Wharf

During the summer months, Llanymynech Canal Wharf (Glanfa Llanymynech) is open each Saturday and Sunday afternoon (as well as Bank Holiday Mondays) and features informative exhibitions in the old stable block as well as 30 minute canal trips that take in a short section of the Montgomery Canal between England and Wales.
