Communications and Marketing Volunteer

We are looking for someone with a background or interest in marketing to help us raise the Kitsquad profile. The role is flexible but we would love someone to give 10-15 volunteering hours a week. This role can be completed remotely and can be job-shared if the ideal candidate is unable to commit to the full hours. 

You will be:

• Recognise opportunities to highlight aspects of the work that we do

• Help to write press releases

• Keeping our social media fresh and engaging

• Helping to put together newsletters, Kitsquad beneficiary stories and helping to think of campaign ideas

• Working with our website designer to keep our website up to date and looking sharp

• Assisting with e-flyers and creative content

• Spotting trends in the charitable and / or outdoor community and feeding this back to the rest of the team.

About Kitsquad

Kitsquad are a young and pioneering charity. We supply people living in poverty with outdoor clothing and equipment to enable them to access the great outdoors. Based in Atcham, we cover the whole of the UK.

What skills do I need?

• Have some Marketing and social media experience 
• Able to work well and engage with others
• Willing to be part of a dynamic and award winning team
• You will have initiative and drive to work alone
• Be creative

Availability to suit the volunteer. If you are wanting to be based at Kitsquad HQ, that is okay but please note we are only open during Monday - Friday.
