Festival Project Coordinator

Kitsquad

Kitsquad are building aspects of the charity that will allow it to become more financially sustainable. One of these programmes revolves around salvaging at festivals for left behind camping equipment and developing a rental scheme where this equipment can be rented back to festival goers at future festivals.

This post is about 5 hours per week and can be job-shared if the ideal candidate is unable to commit to the full hours.

Whilst this is not a new role, it is a developing role. A full handover and ongoing support in this role will be given.

You will be:

• Engaging with festivals with our business proposal

• Contacting festivals with the request that we go along and salvage at their festivals

• Organising and coordination salvaging teams, booking in and completing the necessary paperwork and booking vans as required

• Organising a team to help sort through through items

About Kitsquad

Kitsquad are a young and pioneering charity. We supply people living in poverty with outdoor clothing and equipment to enable them to access the great outdoors. Based in Atcham, we cover the whole of the UK.

Skills include:
  • You must have the ability to engage with others
  • Good organisation skills
  • Have drive and help us get this project up and running
  • Able to work as part of a team and be self-motivated to work alone
  • Willing to be part of a pioneering and unique charity
