Events volunteers help raise awareness of diabetes and Diabetes UK at events. They talk to members of the public in a friendly and enthusiastic manner to raise awareness of diabetes and Diabetes UK, offer appropriate Diabetes UK materials and answer general queries. You will:
• Talk to members of the public in a friendly and enthusiastic manner to raise awareness of diabetes and Diabetes UK
• Offer appropriate Diabetes UK publications/materials
• Answer general queries and signpost people to their GP if they are worried or would like further information
• Encourage to visit our website for further information about how Diabetes UK can support them
Diabetes UK is the UK's leading diabetes charity. Our vision is to create a world where diabetes can do no harm. We work with communities and healthcare professionals, support everyone affected by all types of diabetes and fund research into better treatments and a cure.
