Minibus Driver

Special Olympics North Shropshire is part of Special Olympics Great Britain which provides weekly training opportunities as well as opportunities to compete in a number of different sports for people with a learning disability from the age of 8 upwards. Here in North Shropshire we provide weekly coaching in five different sports. Badminton, Table tennis and Swimming on Monday nights at Oswestry Leisure Centre and Athletics and Boccia on Wednesday nights at the Derwen College sports hall.

We need a driver to take us to competitions a few times a year. These are usually on a Saturday and/or Sunday. 

Mileage expenses covered to collect and return mini bus.

About Special Olympics North Shropshire (SONS)

Special Olympics North Shropshire has been training people with a learning disability aged 8 and above since 1989. We offer weekly training in 5 different sports during term time.

What skills do I need?

• A certain degree of physical fitness is needed
• The driver works as part of the team
• The driver needs to be reliable and punctual
• Prepared to travel countywide
• A people person
